SD Foundation |
Since 2007 |
|
| The San Dieguito Academy Foundation is our very own parent-sponsored fundraising organization. Our parents have done a lot more than contributing money to the team, though. They’ve also supported us by supervising in the metal shop, driving us to events (and Home Depot), making sure we keep our grades up, and bringing us meals in the metal shop when we can’t stand any more pizza – like when JJ’s parents brought in that sushi spread and Ben L’s mom brings her good home-cooked food. |

First Lego League in 2009 |
|
| The City of Encinitas, with matching funds from the Mizel Family Foundation, became sponsors in summer of 2008 when they granted us $5,000 for community outreach to area elementary and middle schools. Their sponsorship resulted in the founding of six new FLL teams at Oak Crest Middle and Ocean Knoll Elementary Schools. It has been one of our most rewarding experiences to date. |

SAIC |
Since 2010 |
|
| "SAIC is one beast of an engineering company. Operating internationally, this Fortune 500 powerhouse does cutting-edge work in a wide-range of national and international issues such as national security, energy, environment, infrastructure, and health. During the 2010 preseason, due to the economic situation and lower levels of corporate philanthropy, we were afraid that Team Paradox might not meet its budget. Into this scene came SAIC, who donated enormous sums of money to Team 2102, which covered not only the 2010 budget, but has allowed us to save significant funds, which we plan to roll out over the next two years. |
